At Yarra4Life we appreciate working with organisations that view environmental care as paramount. This is especially true for TreeHouse, who actively demonstrate this in their business philosophy, by embracing environmental care as a central component of their operations.

Treehouse's core business of secure white paper recycling and document destruction is of itself in the best interests of the planet; and itsmethods of minimizing their impact on Australia through sustainable business practices including the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar and plant based biodiesel pave the way for others.

Treehouse's initial contribution enabled Yarra4Life to plant 1500 trees to provide habitat for some of Australia’s rarest fauna, including Victoria’s animal and bird emblems, Leadbeater’s Possum and the Helmeted Honey-Eater respectively,

TreeHouse has plans for a partnership with Yarra4Life where plantings will take place for every ton of paper processed.

Treehouse's involvement is twofold:

• It leads the way in cost effective, environmentally sustainable operations in secure paper recycling, and;
• It provides Yarra4Life with funding which delivers plantings that support our native flora and fauna and helps reduce carbon emissions.
